For their time, the Alternate Reality games where really visually impressive, featuring 64 colors onscreen at once and an innovative texturemapped 3d engine; amazing for a computer in back in 1985. These screenshots were taken from the Atari 8-bit versions, wich you can download freely and try out for yourself on the downloads page.

Not all information is accurate here, and there's a cool screenshot which never made it into the final game.
